There is almost no quiet left
Not the kind you can actually hear yourself in. Something is always on — a screen, a message, a voice asking for something.
So we lose the habit of listening inward. We carry questions around for years without ever sitting still long enough for the answers to surface. They are usually already there. They just need a room with nothing else happening in it.
That's the whole idea behind this evening. Not a lecture, not a class. A few women in a warm room, doing something we almost never let ourselves do.
How the evening moves
First hour
We arrive and we talk About the soul, and about what happens to it when it never gets a moment off. Nobody has to share anything they don't want to.
Second hour
We breathe, and we go looking for her Guided breathwork to bring the noise down, then we go find the little girl who is still in there — the one who knew what she wanted before anyone told her otherwise.
Third hour
Total silence No guidance. No talking. Long enough that the answers come up on their own.
Before you go
Tea, and whoever wants to speak, speaks We come back slowly. Some women leave with something to say. Some leave quiet. Both are the right answer.
What to bring
- Something soft and easy to sit on the floor in.
- A notebook, if you're someone who thinks better with a pen.
- Your phone — which goes into a bowl by the door and stays there.
- No experience with any of this. Truly none needed.
